Black Sheep is an examination of some common mental illnesses and the way they affect family dynamics. Everyone is affected or has someone close to them at some stage that is affected by depression, bipolar, or schizophrenia. This song opens a subtle dialogue about mental illness resulting in suicide.

Musically, the harmony is dark with a stagnant chorus. It is driven vy drums and has sweeter vocals to provide contrast.
